In the heart of Portugal, amid the mountains, the month of August is abuzz with people and activity.

Reviews

“Attention, non-identified object, with high poetic and popular contents. This delicate monster, that leaves the viewer happy, arrives from Portugal”
Le Monde, Jacques Mendelbaum

“Miguel Gomes has a missing quality in almost all today’s world cinema: imagination. Overflowing, crazy, precise, maniacal.”
Libération, Philippe Azoury

“A unique film that makes us think of many other films and situations from life, but differing from all of them.”
Miguel Gomes Retrospective – BAFICI
